Now for the Monterey story...

I arrived in Monterey on Friday evening (LAST Friday evening) the 7th, and haven't stopped yet! No time for anything, especially blogging! But, today...I'm sharing some pics of my newest grandson...Porter Eugene Smith. He was born Monday morning Nov.3, 2008. He was a bit early but still weighed 7 lbs. 10 oz. - 20.5 in. long with LOTS of dark hair... So here are some pics...

We're home already!

Here he is in his going home outfit,
and it fits so well! James wore those
same booties home........

Question...do you think his
ear lobes are extra big????

Daddy's in charge of Michael...

Here's the final exit..... ( I took TONs
more pics but they were so done
with the picture thing by this point.....)

And in the car...snuggy & ready
to go to his new home!!

Michael Martin Lenninger has arrived!!!

Believe it or not he was born on his due date of Nov 1st! 7 lbs 8 oz, 20 in. long & healthy. He was delivered c-section, however, after Aubrey had been pushing for a while (seemed like forever to her!) because he was trying to make his entrance face first & it just wasn't working! He's going to be the one who always wants to see what's coming before he makes his decisions!! He's a cutie - of course - and looks a bit like James but more like himself at this point. We think he has Aubrey's nose though.
James, however, was not too sure of the situation & stayed pretty close to Dad!

Well, things are still where they were when I last wrote...unfortunately!! But this we do know ~ this baby will be born at some point! Although at the moment, Aub is not believin' it! Sigh....

Fun in Cally...

Rick met me in San Jose & we had dinner before he headed to K Falls. He returned to CA today so I'll be able to enjoy him as well as Aubrey, Sean, James & (hopefully!) Michael...
It's always great to see my boy!
And now I'm visiting Aubrey, Sean and sweet baby James. Obviously Aub doesn't have much of a lap left, but James still manages to get comfortable! Things seem to be progressing so we're hopeful Michael will make his appearance tonight! Keep your fingers crossed!
James is just as cute as he can be & I'm having a ball with him!
Those big blue eyes get me every time!!
